Aramayo Scruffy 66" Velvet Upholstered Black Matt Bench

Aramayo was born from a trip that had nothing to do with furniture. Wandering through the old towns along the Mediterranean coast, what stayed with us was not the architecture or the food, but the way people rested. Low stone benches outside doorways. Wooden daybeds under fig trees. Seating that invited you to stay longer than you planned.

We wanted to bring that same unhurried energy into a modern Indian home. The Black Matt Sheesham base gives the piece its grounding, its weight, its seriousness. The Natural White Oak mounting adds contrast, a lighter note where the frame meets the seat, like sunlight catching the edge of something dark.

The Azco Premium Velvet upholstery is layered across both the seat and a separate bolster, creating two zones of comfort on one piece. You can sit upright or lean sideways. You can use it at the foot of a bed or against a wall in a hallway. The low seat height was deliberate. It slows you down. It asks you to settle in.
