SHIPPING POLICY

At Varpas (operated by Atrium Multitrade Pvt. Ltd.), we are committed to delivering your handcrafted furniture safely and on time. Since most of our products are made-to-order, we follow a transparent process to keep you informed every step of the way.


1. PROCESSING & PRODUCTION TIME

Made-to-Order Products:

Most furniture items at Varpas are handcrafted specifically for you after you place your order.

  • Production Time: 15-21 days (approximately 3 weeks) from order confirmation
  • What happens during this time:
    • Your order is sent to our craftsmen
    • High-quality materials are sourced
    • Your furniture is handcrafted with care
    • Quality checks are performed before dispatch

Ready-to-Ship Products:

  • Items marked as "Ready to Ship" or "In Stock" will be dispatched within 2-3 business days

Order Confirmation:

  • Once your order is placed, you will receive an Order Confirmation Email within 24 hours
  • You will receive a Production Update when your item enters the manufacturing phase
  • You will receive Dispatch Notification with tracking details once your order ships

2. DELIVERY TIME

After Production:

Once your furniture is ready and dispatched, delivery typically takes:

  • Metro Cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, Vadodara): 5-7 business days
  • Tier 2 Cities: 7-10 business days
  • Tier 3 Cities & Remote Areas: 10-14 business days

Total Timeline (Order to Delivery):

  • Made-to-Order: Approximately 4-5 weeks (3 weeks production + 1 week delivery)
  • Ready-to-Ship: Approximately 1-2 weeks (2-3 days processing + 5-10 days delivery)

Note: These are estimated timelines. Actual delivery may vary based on location, product complexity, and unforeseen circumstances.


3. SHIPPING COVERAGE

We Ship PAN India:

Varpas ships to all serviceable pin codes across India.

Before You Order:

  • Enter your pin code on the product page to check serviceability
  • If your area is not serviceable, please contact us at care@varpas.shop or call +91-9099777161 for alternative arrangements

Non-Serviceable Areas:

  • Some remote locations may have limited courier access
  • We will inform you during order confirmation if your pin code faces delivery challenges
  • In such cases, we may arrange delivery to the nearest accessible location, and you may need to arrange final-mile transport

4. SHIPPING CHARGES

Free Shipping:

  • We offer FREE shipping on all orders PAN India
  • No minimum order value required

Special Delivery Requests:

  • If you require expedited shipping or white-glove delivery service, additional charges may apply
  • Contact us for a custom quote

5. ORDER TRACKING

Track Your Order:

  • Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email and SMS
  • You can track your shipment in real-time using the courier partner's tracking portal
  • For any tracking issues, contact us at care@varpas.shop

Pre-Delivery Call:

  • Our delivery partner will call you 24-48 hours before delivery to confirm your availability
  • Please ensure you or an authorized person is available to receive the delivery

6. PACKAGING & HANDLING

Safe Packaging:

  • All furniture is carefully packaged using:
    • Bubble wrap for fragile parts
    • Corrugated sheets and cartons
    • Foam padding for delicate surfaces
    • Wooden crates (for large or premium items)

Eco-Friendly Packaging:

  • We use recyclable and biodegradable materials wherever possible
  • Please dispose of packaging responsibly or recycle

7. DELIVERY PROCESS

What to Expect on Delivery Day:

Step 1: Our delivery partner will contact you to confirm delivery time

Step 2: Upon arrival, please:

  • Verify the package for visible damage before accepting
  • If the package is damaged, refuse delivery and inform us immediately
  • If you accept delivery, inspect the product in the presence of the delivery person

Step 3: If everything is satisfactory:

  • Accept delivery and sign the proof of delivery (POD)
  • Keep all packaging materials for at least 48 hours in case of hidden damage

Step 4: Assemble (if required) following the instruction manual provided


8. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

If You're Not Available:

  • The courier will make 2-3 delivery attempts
  • After failed attempts, the order will be returned to our warehouse
  • You will be contacted to reschedule delivery

Re-Delivery Charges:

  • First rescheduling: Free
  • Subsequent rescheduling or re-delivery attempts: May incur charges (₹500-₹1500 depending on location and product size)

9. DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS

Damaged During Transit:

If your product arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos/videos immediately (in the presence of the delivery person if possible)
  2. Report within 48 hours to care@varpas.shop with:
    • Order number
    • Photos of damage
    • Photos of packaging
  3. We will arrange replacement or refund as per our Return & Refund Policy

Missing Items or Parts:

  • If any parts are missing from your order, contact us within 48 hours
  • We will dispatch the missing components at no additional cost

10. ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION

Self-Assembly:

  • Most products come with easy-to-follow assembly instructions
  • Basic tools (screwdriver, Allen key) may be required
  • Assembly videos and guides are available on our website

Professional Assembly (Optional):

  • Available in select cities at an additional charge
  • Contact us for pricing and availability

Important:

  • Damage caused during self-assembly is not covered under warranty
  • If unsure, we recommend hiring a professional carpenter

11. DELAYS & UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

We strive to meet our delivery timelines, but delays may occur due to:

  • Public holidays or festivals
  • Natural disasters, strikes, or lockdowns
  • Custom or personalized orders requiring extra time
  • Courier delays in remote areas

What We'll Do:

  • Keep you informed via email/SMS if delays occur
  • Provide revised delivery estimates
  • Work with our logistics partners to expedite delivery

Note: Varpas is not liable for delays beyond our control but will make every effort to minimize inconvenience.


12. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Currently, Varpas ships only within India.

For international orders, please contact us at care@varpas.shop for a custom quote and feasibility assessment.


13. INCORRECT ADDRESS

Your Responsibility:

  • Please ensure the shipping address provided is complete and accurate
  • Include landmarks, contact number, and pin code

Address Changes:

  • Address changes are possible before dispatch by contacting us immediately
  • Once dispatched, address changes may not be possible or may incur additional courier charges

Undelivered Due to Incorrect Address:

  • If an order is returned due to incorrect/incomplete address, re-delivery will incur additional shipping charges

14. ORDER CANCELLATION BEFORE DISPATCH

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund
  • After 24 hours (once production begins), cancellations are subject to our Return & Refund Policy
  • Once dispatched, cancellations are not permitted

15. BULK ORDERS & COMMERCIAL DELIVERIES

For bulk orders (10+ items) or commercial/B2B deliveries:

  • Custom shipping timelines and arrangements may apply

  • Special packaging and delivery can be arranged

16. COMMUNICATION & UPDATES

We will keep you informed at every stage:

  • Order Confirmation: Within 24 hours

  • Dispatch Notification: With tracking details
  • Pre-Delivery Call: 24-48 hours before delivery
