Banana Fiesta 17.75" Sheesham Wood Peca Bar-And-Counter-Stool

Banana started with a complaint. Every bar stool we tested was either too industrial, too padded, or too afraid of its own material. Metal frames with thin wood caps. Upholstered tops on spindly legs. Pieces that apologized for being stools instead of chairs.

We wanted to go the other way entirely. No metal. No upholstery. No apology. Just wood, shaped by hand into something that fits the body without pretending to be something it is not.

The seat is Peca Sheesham, carved into a shallow saddle profile with a raised back lip that curves gently upward. The scoop is not aggressive. It does not force you into one position. It simply suggests where to sit, and your body does the rest. The grain on the seat surface runs front to back, catching light in long, warm streaks that shift as you move around the piece.

The Peca Sheesham structure is built around four splayed legs connected by angled stretcher rails on three sides. The joinery is traditional, mortise and tenon, with enough visible craft at each connection point to remind you that this stool was made, not assembled. The legs taper downward to a clean, rounded foot that sits flat on any surface.

At 17.75" x 19" with a 24" seat height, Fiesta is sized for standard kitchen counters and breakfast bars. It is the stool you reach for when you want something that feels like it has always been in the kitchen.
