Ayberk Beamer 59" Upholstered Metal Powder Coat Bench

Ayberk did not start as a product. It started as a problem inside an architecture office.

Blocher Partners India needed seating for their studio that could handle the way architects actually work. Not at desks, but in loose groups. Reviewing drawings spread across a surface. Gathering around a model. Waiting for a client in a lobby that needed to feel more like a living room than a reception area. Every bench they tried was too narrow, too linear, too rigid for the kind of informal, multidirectional sitting their space demanded.

So they designed their own.

The seat is a full oval in Dynamic Living Kia 505 Ply & Foam Upholstery, a muted sage green fabric with a heathered, wool like texture that reads as warm and organic from any angle. The oval shape is the entire point. It has no front or back, no head or foot. You can sit on it from any direction, which changes how people arrange themselves around it. Two people face each other across the short axis. Three sit in a loose triangle. One person lies across it with a laptop. The shape invites all of it.

The White Powder Coat Mild Steel base is a simple ring of four cylindrical legs connected by a slim oval rail that mirrors the seat above. The white finish was chosen to disappear against light floors, letting the green cushion appear to float. The legs are set inward from the edge, so the oval overhangs on all sides, which makes the bench feel larger than its footprint and softer than its structure.

At 59" x 27.5" with a 17.5" seat height, Beamer is unusually wide for a bench. That 27.5" depth is what makes it work. It is not a bench you straddle or perch on. It is a bench you share.
