Asahi Coot began with a simple, real observation. During a conversation with a customer, we learned about her aged mother who relied on a plastic chair while sitting, changing, or occasionally bathing. In a home thoughtfully designed with wood, stone, and warm materials, the plastic chair felt out of place. Visually and emotionally. It served a purpose, but it did not belong.

That moment became the starting point for Asahi.

The name Asahi, meaning rising sun and quiet renewal, reflects the original intent: to create a chair that could serve as a dignified companion in spaces where comfort is not optional. The Galaxy G2 Zest Cinnamon upholstery wraps the entire shell in a warm, embracing form. The curved backrest does not end abruptly. It wraps around the sides, creating a cocoon that supports without confining.

The Black Powder Coat Mild Steel base is minimal by design. Four splayed legs, no cross bars, no visible hardware. It lifts the chair just enough off the ground to feel light, while keeping the seat height at 17" for easy access.

Asahi was not designed for a showroom. It was designed for a real person, in a real home, who deserved something better than plastic.
