Heron Faani 42" Concrete & Wood Cement Grey Coffee-Table

Heron was inspired by the stillness of a wading bird standing motionless at the edge of a lake. There is a confidence in that posture. No wasted movement, no unnecessary gesture. Just form, perfectly balanced, waiting.

We wanted a coffee table with that same economy. No drawers, no shelves, no hidden compartments. Just a surface, held up by two solid panels, doing exactly one thing and doing it well.

The top is Cement Grey Pigmented GFRC, a glass fibre reinforced concrete that is lighter than it looks and cooler to the touch than wood. The grey tone shifts with ambient light, warmer in the morning, almost blue in the evening. It is a material that changes mood with the room.

The legs are Natural White Ash, shaped into two wide, flat panels that provide stability without the visual noise of four separate legs. The contrast between cold concrete and warm wood is the entire design. Nothing else was needed.

At 42" x 21" and just 15" tall, Heron sits low and quiet. It is the pause between the sofa and the rug.
