Wilburton was designed in the spirit of the Japanese concept of kanso. Simplicity. The elimination of clutter and the appreciation of what remains when everything unnecessary has been removed.
The entire bench is Natural White Oak. Seat, legs, rails, everything. There is no mixed material play, no contrasting finish, no metal accent. It is a single species of wood, expressing a single idea, in the most direct way possible.
The joints are where the craftsmanship lives. Mortise and tenon connections, slightly radiused corners, and a subtle tapering of the legs that is almost invisible but completely changes the way the bench feels in a room. It lifts the piece from functional to considered.
At 63" long, Wilburton is generous but never heavy. The light, natural tone of White Oak means the bench reflects ambient light rather than absorbing it, which makes it ideal for smaller rooms, minimalist interiors, or spaces where every piece needs to earn its visual weight.
Wilburton is the bench you choose when you have the confidence to choose nothing extra.
Custom finishes or minor dimensional adjustments may be explored based on feasibility. Please reach out to us on WhatsApp for more details.
