Milano Upsilon 18.5" Sheesham & Gold Harvest Dining-Chair

Milano was designed with one eye on the trattorias of northern Italy and the other on the dining rooms of Indian joint families. Both share the same requirement: a chair that can survive hours of conversation, multiple courses, and the occasional leaning back to let a full stomach breathe.

The frame is Harvest Sheesham, shaped into a sled leg profile that is stronger than it looks. The continuous loop from front to back eliminates the weak point where traditional legs meet the seat rail. It is an engineering decision disguised as a design one.

The Gold PVD Stainless Steel 304 Matt mounting appears as a thin horizontal accent connecting the front and rear legs, adding structural rigidity while giving the chair its signature Italian accent. The seat is upholstered in English Garden by Azco, a subtle check pattern that nods to the countryside without cosplaying it.

The wooden backrest is a single solid panel, shaped to support the lower back with a gentle curve. No cushioning, no padding. Just wood, warm from the dining room and smooth from use. Milano is a chair that gets better with time and dinners.
